Deborah Harford

Deborah Harford is Executive Director of ACT (the Adaptation to Climate Change Team) in the Faculty of Environment at Simon Fraser University. A thought leader on integrated climate action and low-carbon resilience Ms. Harford leads ACT’s Integrated Climate Action Planning in B.C. Communities Initiative. With over 14 years of adaptation policy and planning experience at the federal, provincial and municipal levels, she recently contributed to the upcoming NRCan national climate change assessment, ECCC’s Expert Panel on Adaptation and Resilience Results, and the Council of Canadian Academies’ Expert Panel on Top Climate Risks for Canada.
